Our Story

“Solace" means comfort in times of distress—a principle that is woven into the very fabric of our brand. When I, Kohl, was given an Apple Watch for Christmas in 2020, it did not take long to run into the discomfort of the band it came with, and to find that affordable, well-made alternatives simply were not out there. That gap is exactly the void Solace Bands was created to fill.

Every Solace band is made with a clear understanding of what you are looking for: a place where high quality meets a fair price, and where style and comfort meet in the same band. Since our launch in April 2021, my co-founder Chad and I have devoted ourselves to rethinking what a smartwatch band can be. Today Solace Bands is a family and friend-run business, proud to have delivered more than 1,000,000 watch bands to a growing community of happy customers.
